People who use St. Pete Fl storage units to store their items are optimistic that their luck will turn around and they will be able to return to a larger home once again when the economy bounces back and therefore they want to keep their valuables instead of selling them off.
Since the housing market took a turn for the worse over a year ago and then the economy fell upon hard times, many people have lost their jobs or have had to downsize into a smaller house or an apartment which means they having a lot of excess furniture and other items they can no longer fit into their home. Most of these people will sell their items on Craig’s list, eBay, a garage sale or estate sale or give them away to friends and family; however some people cannot bear the thought of being without the items they worked so hard to obtain so they will rent St. Pete Florida storage units in order to keep their excess items for as long as they can without having to give them out or sell them in the hopes that one day they will soon be able to put them back in their home.
Unfortunately, there does not seem to be an end in sight for the housing market because there are now more houses for sale then there are qualified buyers and many people are being forced out of their homes and into foreclosure. Valuable items that once stood proudly and beautifully in a person’s home are now being auctioned off out of storage units St. Pete to people who can afford to purchase gently used items for their own homes or as gifts for other family members. And the proceeds from these sales go to pay off creditors and make mortgage payments that families were behind on.
Some people ask why these families did not sell what was in their storage units to help pay the bills and one reason is because the items in the storage units may not be of value to anyone but them because they hold sentimental value from a lost parent or grandparent and even if they were valuable, it’s very difficult to part with these type of items.
