Beach Cruisers Help to Lesson Carbon Foot Prints, Save Money, Lose Weight

As part of their New Year’s resolutions, many people vowed to lose weight, save the environment or save money and beach cruisers bicycles are just the thing to help people do all of these worthy causes and more. Bicycling to and from work or the grocery store will help save money and at the same time help a person build muscle and lose weight. Bicycling lessens a person’s carbon footprint which is the amount of carbon used by a person on a daily basis. A person’s carbon footprint includes their use of a vehicle, where they work, the trash or waste they produce in addition to the way they heat or cool their home. By riding a bicycle, this lessens a person’s carbon footprint by a pretty good amount over a car and if everyone did it, it would make a great deal of difference to the earth.
An individual could find beach cruisers for sale at their local bike shop or online at a specialty beach cruiser company that will ship them directly from a factory that specially makes beach cruiser bicycles.
In addition to saving the environment and losing weight by riding a beach cruiser bicycle to work and around town, an individual will save money on gas and on the maintenance of a car versus the maintenance of a vehicle. Car maintenance is expensive and there are now many cars, even the ones built ten years ago, which come equipped with computers built into the engines and this can be costly to repair and maintain.
A beach cruiser bicycle does not cost that much in maintenance charges because there is basically keeping the tires filled with air, the chain greased and the bolts tightened. If an individual could not complete these small tasks on their own, a bike shop with a repair department would be happy to assist with this.
As time goes on, a person will become healthier as they ride their beach cruiser bicycle. However, they may want to be careful of falls and always wear a helmet and padding to protect their bones and skin in the event of a fall – they could become distracted when reaching for their drink in the bike cup holders – or a collision with something like a tree, car or another bicycle.
