I was chatting the other day with a friend about candles. She loves candles so much that she collects them and it is lovely to be able to find an unusual one to give to her as a gift. She said that she particularly likes more unusual candles or ones which you cannot get in shops, because then she is less likely to already have them in her collection. I often buy candles online when I buy presents for her as I know that she is less likely to have them in her collection. There are some great places which have collections of candles that are home made or beautiful or just unusual and I carefully choose something which I think that she will really love and will also remind her of me. She said that she knows exactly who has given her each candle that she has and if she has bought the herself, she knows where from. She says that her collection gives her very special memories or people and places. Recently I have bought her some scented candles as I feel they are not only beautiful but can make the home smell lovely too. I tried to choose a scent which was similar to my favorite perfume so that she would more easily remember that it was from me.
