A new search engine optimization term has recently been developed in the SEO industry thanks to Webhead Interactive. The word is “search engine suppression” and it is part of an overall search engine reputation management strategy. Search engine suppression is defined by Webhead as the process of lowering a website’s search engine rankings for selected keywords by optimizing and increasing competing, lower ranking websites that are targeting the same keywords.
